Local final competition held at University of Kragujevac
The final competition for best student idea was held at the University of Kragujevac on Friday, 7thJuly 2017. From sixteen ideas submitted within the competition in the application phase, ten of them entered the second round. After the evaluation of their business models and video materials, eight best ideas were selected to participate the local finals. The ideas were presented to the jury consisted of five member:
- Prof. Dr. Vesna Mandic, the president of the jury (University of Kragujevac)
- Prof. Dr. Miladin Kostic (State University of Novi Pazar)
- Mr. Vladimir Vukadinovic (University of Kragujevac)
- Mr. Marko Vujnovic (Business Innovation Centre Kragujevac)
- Mr. Vladimir Radovanovic (Serbian Chamber of Commerce)
Based on the evaluation of the jury, three best teams were:
- Popularity Wolves with the idea Raising Popularity
- Dream Team with the idea With the Smile
- Piece of Puzzle with the idea Digital Cane
The best teams received the rewards provided by the IF4TM project (study visit to the University of Maribor for team members) and sponsor company Net Computers (tablets).
First two teams, Popularity Wolves and Dream Team, will represent the University of Kragujevac at the National Competition for Best Student Idea that will be held at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce at the end of the summer 2017.

University of Kragujevac organizes the local finals of the Competition for best student idea
The local finals of the Competition for best student idea will be organized at the University of Kragujevac on 7th July 2017.
Eight best ranked teams from the second round of the Competition will have the opportunity to present their ideas in front of the jury in the form of seven-minute pitch presentations.
Three best ideas will receive valuable rewards, while the first and second placed teams will have opportunity to compete with other local winners at the National Finals of the Competition to be held in Belgrade.

Fourth training for participants in competition for best student idea
Within the competition for best student idea, the fourth training for students was organized in Business Innovation Centre Kragujevac, on 25th May 2017.
The participants learned more about the elements of successful presentation, communication and public appearance.
Third training for participants in competition for best student idea
Within the competition for best student idea, the third training for students was organized in Business Innovation Centre Kragujevac, on 18th May 2017.
The topic of the training was financial aspects of start-ups and mechanisms to support the development of ideas through available sources of financing.
Second training for participants in competition for best student idea
The training Validation of Business Model is the second of four modules for participants of the Competition where students had an opportunity build their knowledge on concepts of business model based on the Canvas method. They were introduced to the elements of the business model to be applied on their business ideas such as competitive value, market, customers relations, resources, etc.
First training for participants in competition for best student idea
As part of the Competition for the best student idea, the first training for students of University of Kragujevac was organized in Business Innovation Centre on 5th May 2017.
The training Development of Business Model is the first of four modules for participants of the Competition where students had an opportunity build their knowledge on concepts of business model based on the Canvas method. They were introduced to the elements of the business model to be applied on their business ideas such as competitive value, market, customers relations, resources, etc.
Six teams from Competition for best student idea participated at “Youth Business Forum 2017”
The third five-day conference of young entrepreneurship “Youth Business Forum 2017” was organized on Avala near Belgrade. The conference was organized by Youth Business Forum with support of Serbian Development Agency.
This year conference gathered 30 innovative teams from all parts of Serbia who during the five-day program had chance to work with expert mentors from areas of marketing, sales, financing, laws, business plan development, etc. They also met the most successful Serbian entrepreneurs who shared their experiences gained on their way to successful business stories.
Having the same mission of boosting young entrepreneurship and creativity, IF4TM project representatives initiated the cooperation with Youth Business Forum which resulted in participation of six teams from IF4TM Competition for best student idea. Twelve students of the University of Kragujevac participated in the Forum and presented their business ideas:
- Clay
- Popularity Wolves
- Haron
- Mekani PVC
- Smart hydration
- Dream team
After the five-day intensive trainings, they presented their business ideas in front of the jury who chose the most promising one as the winner of the Conference.
The aim of this Conference was to gather young people with business ideas and lead them through the set of intensive entrepreneurial trainings in order to allow them to acquire skills necessary for starting their own business and to encourage them pursue their ideas.
Ideas that have passed administrative check
Two info days on Competition for best student ideas held at the University of Kragujevac
The competition for the best student idea was launched on 15th February 2017 at seven higher education institution in Serbia, among which is the University of Kragujevac. Besides other activities related to the promotion of the Competition, the team from University of Kragujevac organized two info days at the Faculty of Engineering (7th March 2017) and Faculty of Economics (8th March) in order to inform the students about the competition, the rules for application, evaluation stages, rewards, etc.
The winners of the previous Competition for best student ideas were also present and they shared their experiences with the presents participants about the benefits they gained by participating in the competition.
